Voigtlander 35mm f1.2 lens cap

Am I right in thinking that the lens cap requires the hood to be mounted? If so, has anyone found a good 3rd party cap that will work without the hood?

The hood is required for the supplied hood. Any 52mm snap in cap will work.

Hi again Robert White has cv snap caps for £7 if they dont have 52mm let me know i may have one left over from my canon days you can have.The snap caps are great if you dont want to keep the standard hood on and also if your putting a filter on the lens
