Thank you 🙂 Well the 17 wouldn't have this DOF, it'd be closer to a 35/2, but that's the limitations of M4/3 for you. This is a very big lens and on a M4/3 it would be 100mm too. Certainly very different options, apart from the low-light performance of course.

dang that's a cool image! i can't decide between this lens and the 35mm/f1.2.

Both are good lenses, similar size - i just couldn't justify the jump in size to the 35/1.2 over the super tiny 35/1.4 i already have. The 50/1.1 is already a little too big to take a lot of places, but when you need it, it works amazingly.
