Voigtlander 50/2.5 Color Skopar

My First roll with this lens. Naturally the test roll consists of Portraits of the dogs :)
These two are Acros scanned with a Pakon F135+ . Also new to me. It's not as detailed as the Nikon V ed but much faster.

The ergonomics of the Skopar is ideal. I think I finally found my perfect B+W 50mm.

Very nice portraits, Andy! I've got my Skopar 50 on a Leica IIIc and have been shooting a lot with that combo recently; makes a really nice travel kit.

Thank you Steve :)
I bet that it's a great match for the IIIc.
Mine is on an R3M. It's a very nice handling pair.
Looking forward to using it a lot this fall.
Cheers!

What a Yummy Good lens, love Everyone's photos
Sigh, too bad voigtlander no longer makes that jewel,
Such Lovely rendering !

It would be great if they released an M version although, I do prefer this build style.
The build style as it is for the M version 35mm Color Skopar is not as nice imo.

I wasn't sure I liked this lens, but I recently put it through some more shooting, and got a few keepers. I don't mind the f/2.5 anyway because the focus is hard enough to nail down, most of the times. I wish I could try this lens on digital (A7S ?).

Had already thought about selling mine since I also own a ZM 50mm Sonnar. But the Skopar makes such a nice and small travel package with its 28mm sister (f3.5) that I finally decided to keep it. The Sonnar will probably stick to the M3 as my one-lens kit.
