I had this little gem sometime ago on my DSLM but sold it - was stupid ...
Mostely I use 35mm but for my newly found Leica IIIf I'll try to find another copy of the CS 2.5/50 :angel:
PS: I had a chrome one, is the black copy really worse in image results

I like what I get from Summaron or Elmar, but it's quite difficult to get one in perfect condition, and price should be pretty high.
I just find the little voigtlanders a little bit contrasty and not than sharp (well, actually only noticed it with my old 21/4 LTM).
35&50 or 25&50 it's a great combo to part with.

Black and Chrome are identical in optical performance. Mine was just a joke.
Note, however, that for some lenses (not sure about the Skopar) that the chrome versions of the lens tends to be heavier and made of brass as opposed to lighter alloys.

Good choice, but don't go by Erik's pictures when judging a lens. He sprinkles magic dust on his prints. It would seem that in his capable hands, a negative from a plastic lens would yield just as good a print.
