Old thread but old lenses can be very nice and don't have to go out of date. I wanted a small, light weight lens with good image quality and this fills the bill.

Leica m240, collapsible Heliar f3.5. Hand held 1/125 sec. Shot by holding above my head to clear an 8 ft fence.

Testing for how it renders architectural details. The light had a lot of haze and glare from the afternoon heat and humidity we often have around here, which is captured pretty accurately by this lens. Other more contrasty lenses might give the image a little more pop but it would not be accurate. I printed this a bit darker than it should be to better see the details. This is about a 40 to 50% crop to exclude some stuff at the bottom of the frame I couldn't crop out with my feet.

Very nice photos everyone.

Raid, lovely pastel, watercolor look in those late afternoon beach, setting-sun photos.

A little off topic but when I first looked at the photo of your daughter I did a double take 'cause she looks so much like a friend of mine who has modeled for me a few times. They both seem to have very lovely features for modeling, particularly the high cheekbones and facial shape (my friend's face is a little puffy in the 2nd photo cause she'd just given birth). But, to my eye they look like they could be sisters.
