What´s the difference between the 1.2 x 1.1?
I wish Voightlander had a small, light, sharp 50mm f/2.0 in the $600 bracket.
This 50mm 1.2 ASPH lens is widely regarded to be one of the very best 50mm lenses, probably ever and certainly tops in its price range. It is comparable, by most accounts, only upwards- to Leica's more expensive similar lenses.
Voigtlander has 4 current 50mm lenses in their line-up. If one of these doesn't suit you as a new lens purchase, all or most are available (some more widely than others) on the used market. B&H for example as of last night, (jan 22, 2020) has (2) 50mm f1.2 ASPH lenses for around 750.00 (give or take).
Their current new lens price on this is under 1000.00, coming in at 900+ USD in fact all but the Voigtlander 50mm f3.5 lenses are currently on offer with 100.00 or 50.00 savings
Voigtlander does not have a current 1.2 50. They have a 1.1 , a 1.2, & a 1.5 (black or silver), plus the 3.5.
3 of their current 4 are "fast 50s". Tho "sharpness" may be debatable in each, image quality and rendering are not. Prices vary but not too far away from your mark of 600.00 if I'm not (and I may be) mistaken.
Here's a link to B&H and you may see for yourself what's available.
