I have owned this lens twice. I first purchased a copy about 12 years ago, but at the time did not bond w/ the focal length, and sold it. Fast forward to 2018 or so, and my thinking about the focal length had evolved, so I got another copy. This is the lens I now use regularly for landscape work, when I want to isolate detail. I've also concluded that the 75mm focal length is perfect for making photos of the shoreline from a boat in a river; enough reach, but not too much. The Heliar 75 is also very compact for a 75mm lens and is quite usable on a Leica IIIc, as well as an M Leica. I have no complaints about sharpness or rendering.
