Its funny 'cos its true. Already had a long lens in the form of a Jupiter 9, but this thread made be buy the Heliar. Fortunately I spotted a careworn example (brassed mounting ring on a black body) that was optically perfect so I got a decent deal (in fact, it didn't cost much more than the Jupiter
Remember, gear is an investment, not an expense

Just took this one this morning. It was a bright day so f4@2000. bw400cn
That faded iron on was taken with a Zeiss flektogon 35mm/2.4 open on a Canon 20D. The martian toy is just over an inch
