Voigtlander at Photokina 2012

I really want to see them improving their work place and factories. Some of the glasses they send out are a hit and others are a miss.

Denzig7, according to this thread you received 3 used lenses sold as new - annoying surely, but hardly the fault of Voigtlander:

Surely anoying but one example does not make bad QC. Grease residue should not be on a new lens - of course.

..cleaned off as you noted in this thread Good for you.
I did follow your painful road to a clean lens, but I don't think you have a good case for bashing Voigtlander. You should have returned the lens to BH and let them do things right. All companies will slip less than perfect samples through their QC from time to time - even Leica. IMO The real indicator of customer oriented company is how easy they or their partners corrects the mistakes. (BTW. I don't even know if the two vendors you have been dealing with are official Voigtlander resellers - they are not on the distributors list)
