Voigtlander Color Skopar 25mm f/4 M Mount and M8?

Anyone using this combination with their M8? Which frame lines does the M8 bring up?

I do. I just use the whole viewfinder. The lens gives a little more than that. FWIW, I use the C/V 15 without an auxiliary finder too. After a little chimping, you get a pretty good sense of what will be in the frame and what will not. Helpful for checking the accuracy of your focus-guess too.

According to CameraQuest it does:

"Leica M8, the 25P brings up the 24mm brightline"

I have used my 25P pretty extensively on my M8 and been very pleased with the results. It does bring up the 24 frame lines.

I wonder if anyone has determined what size UV/IR filter this lens requires? I have started to really notice the difference in color rendering as my eye grows more experienced. Sorry to stray from the topic slightly....

CV 25/4 M mount

Anyone using this combination with their M8? Which frame lines does the M8 bring up?

This was my first and only lens for my M8 for about a year.

I still have it, and use it, despite having a 28/2.0 now. It is smaller and lighter - great for when I go canoeing, etc for a while.

It brings up the 24mm frame lines; I did make mine coded; the 24mm frame lines might be a bit hard to see if you are a glasses wearer.

So, thumbs up from this camp!
