Has anybody tried this particular combo? There's one listed locally and I was thinking of getting it so that I have a close to 50mm field of view. My other lenses are Russian 50mm ones. The one I'm looking at is not the pancake version and is natively a Leica Screw Mount but comes with the Voigtlander adapter.

Interested too about experiences with this camera and lens.
Specially how does it look, being so contrasty

Great lens with film (Y'all remember film, don'tcha?)
OK - No joke...You said 'locally'?
Why not go shoot with it - even if it's in someones kitchen?

I use the 35mm f2.5/GXR combination a lot and its been outstanding. I also use it on my M6. I've had many Leica lenses and I can't remember any of them being noticeably better than the CV. Also, I've had my 2.5 pancake since they first came out and have taken it all over the world. It's still in as-new condition and more or less flawless. One good tip is to get one of those inexpensive metal vented Chinese lens hoods for it. They're not far short of Leica quality and cost very little...TW

Thanks,
samples photos with the GXR are very scarce, would love to see how it draws
