As Voigtlander and Zeiss add more and more products to the Cosina assembly line,
it is inevitable slower selling products will be discontinued.

While the Double A Accessory shoe remains in production,
type B and C Double Shoes are discontinued, and sold out at the factory.

Type B has a mount height of 7 mm, works with the Bessa T, Nikon SP, Contax II or IIa, or Kiev Contax Copies
Type C has a mount height of 10 mm and fits the Bessa L.

The Double shoe allows the side by side use of two viewfinders,
or the use of the VC Meter I or II with a Viewfinder.

So folks,
if you want a Double B or C accessory shoe,
buy them while you still can!

Does that mean the price will start dropping? 😀
I bought my Bessa-T after it was discontinued at a clearance sale, best C/P valued camera I have ever bought.

No. The Bessa L, T, and R Closeout discounts were done at the factory level to clear out inventory. The factory sold out of these without reducing the price.
