Voigtlander Prominent on TV

Nowhere else could I share my distorted excitement over having seen a Voigtlander Prominent on TV.

Anyway, this morning on CNN I think there was an ad by the New Zealand Tourist Board showing a typically beautiful couple enjoying the wonders of that country. The woman was in her 20's. In one scene she stooped down to take a photo of vegetation and she was -- honest -- holding a Voigtlander Prominent. Someone with that TV production company must be a stealth RF lover.

Not quite in the same league but I was recently reading "They Came to Baghdad" by Agatha Christie. In one scene Christie described a woman packing her suitcase in a hotel. In the suitcase were "a Leica camera and two rolls of film"...
