I love 1950's quality
Hi all,
I have a Voigtlander Vito B and love the form factor and built quality. But the f3.5 Skopar lens must be one of the most flare prone lenses I have ever seen.
I'm thinking about getting a Vitomatic II(a) with an Ultron lens. Does anybody one here have one of those? What are your experiences with the Ultron? I know it can be quite sharp, but what about flare?
How about the f2.8 Skopar in the Vitomatic? How about flare with this one?
Thanks!
Herb

Love vintage Hifi, too!
Hi,
I own a Voigtländer Vitomatic IIIb and IIICS, both have the Ultron.
All I can say, that this is an AMAZING lens. Probably one of the best 50mm lenses ever made.
Very nice color and threedimensionality. It's one of my favorite cameras and lenses.
Never had problems with flare. Also no problems with flare with the 2.8 color-skopar. Maybe something is wrong with yours? Just wondering.....
