I just ordered an IT8 target from Wolf Faust for Vuescan. I will use the target to calibrate my Nikon Coolscan V ED with Provia 400x.
Any tips and tricks I should know about? The Vuescan manual is really not that great so I have no idea how to do the calibration (there seems to be a scanner, film, and printer profiling options) and how to configure the Vuescan settings to take advantage of the calibration (e.g., do I still use Media>Slide Film? What about settings in the color tab?).
