Vulcanite "replacement" ??

Hey guys (and girls) 🙂

What would you suggest for vulcanite replacement on an M body (i.e. M3 or M2) - I know there's cameraleather.com and aki asahi but which do you prefer? Or is there another alternative??

The Asahi cover I got for my M4-P fit perfect and arrived in a week.

I have Levant Leather from Cameraleather.com on my M7, great grip, fits perfect, smells good and looks pretty much like Vulcanite.

I have black lizard from CameraLeather on one of my M7 bodies, and it's so cool looking. It also grips very positively.

While Aki-Asahi don't have quite so vast a range of the more fancy stuff, they're quick and relatively inexpensive. What they sent for my IIIc was easy to fit, and it fits perfectly. The texture is not quite the same as that of the Leitz original, though, and longevity remains to be seen.
