W/NW: 35mm Summicron v1

Wow. Haven't been back to the "homeland" for a while. Very dry indeed. Lassen would often get low on snow, but always around late Sept. Oct seems to bring a new coat in time. One of the easiest > 10,000-ft peaks to "bag" for those interested. Park in the upper parking lot and take the pleasant (steep) trail. Worth it if you have enough hemoglobin in your system.

Now, about that summaron 2.8 being so awful. I respectfully disagree.

I think I got my previous post removed, but I understand why.

Well, here are some of my best Summicron 35/2 Type 1 shots I would like to share.

Thanks for posting, all ! Some great photos .... keep them coming please.

Super rad, Roland. I dig the tones - is that the digital equivalent of a red filter to get the dark skies?

Yes Mooge (via Nikon Silver Efex Pro).

(it was dark, so blame the lack of resolution on me, not the lens, please 🙂 ).

Roland.
