2024, things have become quite dismal in my 2nd home in Cueto, Cuba. The country is in the midst of an economic disaster, less than 12 hours a day of electricity, infrequent water supply, major gasoline shortages, long searches for food and over 10% of the country's population having fled. No joy like the 2016 May 1st parade I photographed. So I printed all of those 39 photos and had an exhibit of better days. At the opening , people were happy seeing better days. Then I announced when the exhibit was finished, I was donating all of the photos to the subjects. First exhibit where more came to the closing that came to the opening.
