Yes Kenny I suppose it is , I dont know what sort of tree it is but the bows spread out horizontally and when they touch the ground they seem to root themselves .
 
We have oaks here in TX, live oaks, that exhibit that biological behavior. There's a huge one here on campus named the Century Oak that has done that very thing. Allegedly one of the first planted when the university was founded in 1871.
