Larry C, I didn't remember that i'd done a 4"x10" photo when i was last in Wyoming. I found this one contact print on Lodima, while i was looking through some old work prints.

Thanks, nice. Been sitting here trying to figure out where you were standing when you took that. Up the Gros Ventre maybe? Not sure if you’d remember. I am not sure I’ve ever stood exactly there, wherever it is. Not a view I’ve seen photographed very often, if ever.

Larry, I can't honestly remember. That trip i was going down to meet up w/ Jay Dusard in Bondurant, but the clouds were so great with the incoming storm, that I stopped in a number of places, mostly using the 5x7..... That's the only 4"x10" shot. (& of course there's lots more detail in the trees & dark clouds on the left lost in the iPhone translation).Maybe this one with the 210 gives you a better idea....i didn't walk too much further or get my feet wet.

Okay, now I think I know where that is. The wide angle on the other shot was throwing me. Lovely shot, with the clouds and the snow.
Bondurant seems like a good place to shoot Jay Dusard type photos.

Thank you, Larry, The only photo workshop i ever attended. There was only one other participant w/ a view camera and a young newspaper intern from JH using a twin lens reflex & the majority used digital. So we got lots of Jay's attention. Also spent one day in the darkroom with Jay which was the biggest reason i went. ("Captain Ferrocyanide") Besides photography there was some single-malt testing and talk about jazz and Canadian Ranches where Jay had photographed cowboys for his first book.
