greyelm, that bench shot may be the best of your work that i have seen here. it is haunting, like the first or last frame in a kubrick film zoom shot.
just plain gorgeous tones and framing, Huubl and malc.
 
looked out window at the right time --- snow storm coming and cottage and sheep in full sun shine every thing else was dark --- leica lllf triX --- have it in colour with digi3 --- that I was really pleased with --- thanks Paul
 
Thanks Chris. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time with this frozen mist on the trees. Unfortunately, it was made with an evil DSLR and I feel a lttle ashamed putting it here in the RFF forum....:eek:

No need to apologise on my account, I love rangefinders but I love good photos even more.

I've walked by that scene any number of times over the last few months and nobody ever sits there. What I like about it is that there is no hint of time period, I'm sure it would have looked the same all those years ago when B&W was the only option.

I love B&W.
