There's not much sense of scale, but this is a close up detail of a small feature. The protruding ridges are probably around 1/2 inch tall (10mm). Valley of Fire State Park is known for its red sandstone, and this feature was probably created by erosion.Oh, how is this possible?!

What exactly is a 2X yellow filter? Is it like a darker/deeper yellow, or are you simply stacking two normal yellow filters?
You can just smell Troy and Hercules!
