Because of this thread an old fool thought he'd buy a bike or two; one each. I had the middle of the range one when I was a student and courting. So I looked up the top of the range of the modern version and realised I paid less for my last two cars in total...

Getting two second-hand is going to be very difficult.

I think I'm done fettling my daily ride. This week, I fitted water bottle cage, water bottle, a new bag for the tire pump in the frame triangle, and found that my Abus Bordo-X 6500 link lock's case bolted securely and conveniently to the mount on the top of the frame behind the steering head.

Of course I needed to do another beauty shot to celebrate it:
