CVBLZ4, that's a cool idea for safe passage, under cover, of pedestrians and maybe bicycles. It brings back memories of when I was a kid riding my bike over a steep bridge with a narrower section at the span; I really feared being passed by a bus or truck while in that narrow span, so I pedaled like crazy! Here's a pic of that very bridge (in Bremerton WA) just last year, seen out the window as my mother studies the menu at the restaurant on the beach.

Yeah, there are several of these here in downtown that connect parks on both sides of the river. Stays dry most of the time and makes for scenic jogging/walking.

The Brooklyn Bridge - for sale at a good price - let me know if you want to buy it! :D

For those who would prefer to purchase a more "classic" bridge - I offer this original from London:

Lacking the "charm" of her older sister - the Manhattan Bridge is available at a more "reasonable" price:

Then again - perhaps you "big spenders" would be interested in our special NYC "bridge package"?

And finally - for that special "bridge buyer" who believes it should span something other than "troubled waters" we have this one for sale:

    how do we get a moderator to ban this guy, he is trying to sell a bridge he does not own, I know this for a fact because my GRANDFATHER bought it from a really nice guy when he was in New York in the 40s, and I inherited a few years ago it so it is MY bridge

:D

Hey, I never said I owned it! I am just an "honest" broker looking to bring a willing buyer and willing seller together so as to find a win-win transaction from which I obtain a small (pitfully small, I might add) commission! :bang:

Have you no respect?
