I agree about the food, everywhere I ate in Cambodia was great, even in small road-side places that were in bamboo stalls. I have visited 3 times, love the place@dexdog, I found the freshness and quality of the food in Cambodia to be very high quality. Even when we took long excursions into the country-side, the food was always delicious and fresh. Look forward to going back again.

This and the one from a few weeks ago are from January 2000, the only time I've visited. I can't even imagine how different Cambodia must be now. When we were there, there were hotels just being built along the road from Siem Reap to Angkor. The cluster of people you see below were engineers from Japan who were involved with reconstructing the structures, I imagine, to handle the onslaught of world tourism.

From all the images I see here, Cambodia has to be one of the most inspiring places in Southeast Asia to visit with a camera. Or cameras. Me, in the latter case.
I may be returning later this year, for the first revisit in a long, long time. This thread has motivated me. Thank you all!
