Spar Cave Isle of Skye - January 2015
Cave entrance ( accessible for half an hour only at low tide after clambering along a narrow cliff ledge , with a plunge in the sea 6 foot below - not for the faint of heart when carrying two expensive Leicas )

I'm a long-time caver. Drives my wife crazy and has led to some tension at times; I wanted to hold our wedding in a cave, but alas it was a "mountain-top" location instead. It was a nice wedding.
I recently took my son on a quick caving trip. Here he is:
It's VERY unfortunate that the public (here in the US) cannot be trusted with caves. So many caves are literally destroyed by callous, ignorant (and other terms I cannot write here) people in my part of the world. That makes it harder for folks like me to gain access to these amazing places, but its a price I willingly pay to keep the bad people out. Sad, really.

Here's a slightly different cave….an Underwater Cave! The lighting was tricky…I used two strobes to get the shot but it was well worth it.
