Am I seeing things correctly? In your photo above, isn't the white queen supposed to be on a white square and the black queen supposed to be on a black square?

Hi Narsuitus, sorry I hadn't noticed your comment until now. You are quite correct: the white queen should be on a white square and the black queen on a black square. The photo was as I found the board.
