W/NW: Churches

This "church" is about 1.5 x 2 meters, has an altar and tight seating for four. Manolo, a Santeria Babalawo or priest, guides my friend, Yudi, in connecting with her personal spirit, Yemaya. The total encounter was about 2 1/2 hours. I was able to attend for all but about 1/2 hour when Manolo asked me to step outside. He did ask that I not photograph until his spirit had left him at the end. I complied out of respect. Plus I am not risking crossing anyone with the skulls of nine black cats on his altar.

Antii,I've just seen your picture of the church in Tallinn, there's a clarity about it I find
rather fascinating, perhaps you could fill in the details, film, lens, etc!

St Patrick's chapel, Heysham, Lancashire, England.

Over 1000 years old, this place has always fascinated me.

(posted on this site before, but it suits this theme) 🙂
