This is the mosque of Edirne (Hadrianopel), the largest in Turkey.

The women are put aside (far away, on the left).

Last November I was in Venice, staying on San Giorgio island for a small academic event. The exhibits from the 2018 architectural Biennale were still up. On San Giorgio, the Vatican had built a number of small chapels, by various architects and in various materials. All were interesting, and many were beautiful. Here are two, shot on HP5+ with a Mamiya 7 and 43mm lens. It was an overcast November day, with very flat light.
