W/NW - Classic Cars

Based on the fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror, I'd venture to say it's the same car @Mcary photographed, just a different time of day since the hood is open.
Shot this past Saturday at the Car show in King George VA. When I saw you pic I kind of wonder if it might be the same car.

For a few years I owned a Volvo P1800. Fun car to drive on dry pavement, worst car in snow. More than once got stuck in my own driveway during winter snow that wasn't very heavy. After that got in LandRovers and didn't worry so much about snow.

Shot with M4 and 21mm Super Angulon, was also exploring Blads at the time. Licence on the car shows 1970...

I didn't get a photo, because it was matte black and the lighting was difficult, but I was mildly amazed to discover that there's a custom builder that brands their creations as "Apocalypse", with mushroom cloud as their logo.

Whether such complex things would be serviceable in a post-apocalyptic world (shrug) let's hope that such grim futures remain the stuff of popular movies and television miniseries!

For me, the picking's have been non-existent this month. Nothing, Nadda, Zero!

I can only imagine that this hot weather is keeping the classic cars at home in their garages.

I'm still looking, hope to spot one soon!

Very nice. Not the same but it makes me remember my mother's '72 Plymouth Sport Fury with a 383 & a four-barrel carb that she had when I was in high school. She loved her hot cars :D You hit the gas and you could watch the gas gauge go down... I never found out how fast it could go because the front end would start lifting at 120 and I'd chicken out  Yeah, I loved driving that car
