W/NW - Classic Cars

This is incredible. I owned this Version of the VW pickup back in 1973 (it was a 67). Never in my imagination would I think it could haul a race car. The VW could only do up to 45 MPH on a good day.
My uncle, a gardener, drove a VW pickup in the 1960s too.
For the transporter of Porsche's racing cars it was despite of some hills probably enough for the short distance of around 10 miles from the Porsche factory at Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen to the Solitude race track.
Mercedes Benz designed a more elegant and much faster transporter for its Silver Arrows.

Both photos shot on Lomo 400 CN film.

Minolta Hi Matic F's square-shaped aperture makes for fun highlight sparkles!

Great capture!

I'm interested in seeing images of automobiles that could be described as: Classic, Vintage, Collectible, Rare, Restored...
The Vehicles (Cars, Trucks, Vans...) don't have to be pristine museum pieces but they should be road worthy and drivable.
Please, no clunkers or cars abandoned in somebody's backyard or out in the woods to rot.

Thank you,
Mike

Please read post No. 1

Just a friendly reminder. :)

I plead complete ignorance here. What's with the red and green headlights? Certainly not port and starboard running lights, I hope!

Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm equally ignorant. The you lady doing the info thing told me the car was older than she. So...
