Yokohama tires on a Japanese-brand car, that's all I got, too. 😂Yokohama is killing me! So many great classic cars. At least my car has Yokohama tires 😁
That is a new one on me, Mike. Don't believe they every made it to the US in that body style. Maybe I am incorrect though.I think it's a Volkswagen Type 3 Notchback Sedan![]()

The Notchback did make it to the US but the numbers might be very low...I have seen them here on several occasions but not that often...That is a new one on me, Mike. Don't believe they every made it to the US in that body style. Maybe I am incorrect though.
There were a few around in the US. As a longtime VW afficionado, I always had my eyes peeled for any and every model, and I remember seeing these. I suspect that they weren't officially imported. That is a new one on me, Mike. Don't believe they every made it to the US in that body style. Maybe I am incorrect though.
This is indeed a Type III Notchback. I don't believe that they were imported into the US in great numbers, but I remember seeing them in California when I was a kid. That is a new one on me, Mike. Don't believe they every made it to the US in that body style. Maybe I am incorrect though.
It is indeed a Type III Notchback. Not as common as a Fastback or a Squareback, but a few made it into the US. I think they were more common in Canada, but I'm not 100% sure.I think it's a Volkswagen Type 3 Notchback Sedan![]()
