I was a big fan of Volvos back in the 1960s. This one would be from between 1962 and 1964. The B18 engine was introduced to the 121/122 and 544 lines in 1962, and the grill was changed in 1965.

1966 model I believe. I owned one once.

My first car was a 63 VW Van. This was taken in Key West.

Consistent with besk's statement above, the VW 1300 was only sold in the US for one year: 1966.

A co-worker of my mother's bought one of these in 1966, and it left me nutty for VWs! My big aspiration in life at the time was to own one, but I never did. 😢

(I did eventually have a Renault R10 and an R16, and I loved those cars!)

*Note: I had just finished taking a picture with my camera's aspect ratio set at 65:24 (panoramic), ISO 100 and f8. I crossed the street, looked at the building in front of me and then turned around and there was the Lancia quickly approaching. I did a quick shot from the hip as it passed by in front of me. This is the result.
