That's great. I'm always trying to make things other than just the main subject interesting. I was drawn to the beehives. Maybe it was just how I thought they aided the composition, or maybe just because I rarely run across them. Glad you noticed.

I am an old beekeeper so I pick up on the hives pretty quick. They have two full-depth supers on each one. When full those supers weigh about sixty pounds apiece and bringing in the fall harvest can be some work I used to help an older beekeeper when I had hives just to work with him. He had a heart condition and humping those deep supers was a lot for him. But he could work with bees. He had the touch and would laugh like hell when I caught one on the lip. He was a great old guy and taught me a lot. I am grateful for the time I got to spend with him.
