I love your black and whites semrich. The people-centred approach is great and I was surprised to see they are shot by a Leica M8 on your Flickr site. They look so film-like, more like Tri-X in their bite and tonalities.

I think there's something to be said for going before things "change." When we do normalize relations there will be a shift. That having been said the country is already changing dramatically so if you want to get your Evanseque shots the clock is ticking!
Brilliant timing! Things may be changing faster than we had supposed!

mcfingon, thank you. I used Silver Efex Pro to get the film look, with the HP5 setting, and a few other adjustments for a standard workflow, to get the film look.

Thank you, Monochrom. The dancers one was among my first R-D1 shots; and the chess players make me question why I haven't used the Mamiya 7 more for street photography.
