On the one hand, one could imagine a dark place as a place where the light has fallen. As in, for example, the time of the day when twilight occurs. On the other hand, not all dark places are dark. They may be full of life. They may conceal things. They can be illuminated through the use of a variety of technical means - a candle, a light, a flash, or a strobe.
Perhaps it is neccesary to conceive of darkness as an active force.
Do any of your pictures correspond to your perception of darkness as an active, positive force?
