When touring on my bike, I always have an eye for those little memorials by the roadside. They are often quite touching, connecting a common site with someone´s destiny in the viewer´s mind.....

A little plane crashed in the field shortly after take off, due to a stuttering engine. Three young people died, two 23s and a 15 year old.
A 12 year old girl was kidnapped at that spot. Later on the kidnapper killed her and dumped her body into a lake.
Risky overtaking cost 5 lives here, two are remembered.
