I love the photos from Holga 120 Camera!!

I am wondering which Holga Camera is best for beginner.

And what is the different between plastic lens and glass lens.

This was taken with a modern Holga 120GN, i.e. a glass meniscus lens and working apertures.

C. Hudson you make me want to get a Holga. I liked most of your images, just the subject on the ones I did not care for. Would you mind sharing what film you used and if you did your own film development?

I would love to Holga, but buying and processing C41 120 film is so expensive here... Anyone tried the 35mm Holga?

Yes, and it's a mixed bag..

If you expect the same results as with the 120 for a cheaper price, it will be a disappointment. First, the images don't have that dreaminess of the 120; there's not as much loss of sharpness and darkening near the corners. Another notable difference is that the lens isn't wide as the one on the 120 is, instead it can be considered somewhat longish.

Judged on its own merits though, the 135 isn't bad at all. It's built sturdier than the 120, and has a cable release socket. Frame advance doesn't require looking at a small window on the back. And, what it's really very good at is multiple exposures..
