W/NW: Dogs

Ray, that's a good-looking dog. What breed is (s)he?

Edit: never mind, I missed your post on page five. :)

Thanks Justin..... for those who don't know Pitbulls are some of the nicest dogs in the world. They are THE MOST loyal dogs on earth and that is one of the reasons they are fought.....they never never turn on their owners and therefor put up with horrible treatment in order to please them.

Dallas was a rescue from my daughters shelter and had horrible skin issues so the breeder gave her up. She is perfect now and is pure bred Blue Brindle Pitty and we love her!

Thanks again.

It was almost a year after Molly and Calvin both passed that Henry joined us in June. He was a bit nervous at first, and is still scared by most things the first time he encounters them.

Pretty quickly though he started to figure out how to conquer all obstacles and become the master of his domain.

Master of his domain, and object of wonderment even when he is doing nothing more than taking a nap.

I can't help to think though, often he isn't alone. He has an inquisitiveness of someone I knew well.

And the duffyness of another too.

Overall he is quite a joy and it is comforting how easily he worked his way into our lives.

It is also pretty fun trying to figure out what each day will bring to us, seeing things anew as he sees them still for the first time.

I smile every time he reminds me of Molly and Calvin. I can't help but to think that he has a friend on each shoulder helping him though each day. I still do too.
