W/NW: Dogs

The sound guy at an outdoor concert for seniors event hosted by our town's community "Cares" orginization brought along this gentle old girl. She's 13, quiet and friendly. A lovely dog.

That’s a pretty dog, what is that? Is that a “recognized” breed, or just a happy accident?
Just curious, as it seems unfamiliar to me. Nice shot as well.

My apologies for not having seen this comment earlier.

Trooper is a full blood Siberian Husky, he has an accepted marking variation generally called a Red Husky.

I don't have papers, he isn't registered, he is just all Husky.

Thanks, I’ve never seen that coloration on a Husky before. Maybe I haven’t been paying attention.

If I may add this top tip from THE MAN, the photographer’s photographer:

“Photography is not rocket science. Essentially you buy the camera and follow the instructions on the box. I think the most important thing you can do in a photograph or in photography is to evoke emotion, to make people either laugh or cry or both emotions at the same time if you can achieve that I think you’ve done well”. —Elliott Erwitt
