Hershey, Cuba - squatter at abandoned worker housing. Hershey was once a very prosperous company town that supplied the sugar to the Hershey chocolate company in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The town and its huge sugar mill were expropriated by the government following the 1959 Castro led revolution. Lack of maintenance and obsolesce caused the sugar mill to be closed in 2002 leaving the town with no employment. Locals live in the few remaining units of the old workers housing that have not had the roofs collapse.
