Thank you! The shot with the cat was taken in 1974 in the waiting room at track 4 of the Amstel Station in Amsterdam, the railway station that was opened in december 1939 when the war had already begun. Nowadays the Amstel Station has its original colors back - as they were in 1939 - but in 1974 it had still its original atmosphere that is gone now.

I really don't know what an "environmental portrait" is. I've never heard of such a portrait.
