I am glad people are enjoying this thread.

There was a powerful image posted here of
the poster's brother, five days before he died
-- but I cannot find it now and I wish it were
still available as I found it moving.

Here are a couple of photographs of my mother,
that I shot a few weeks before she died this summer.
She was much amused because I had to stand on
her walker to get the shot and nearly broke my
neck in the process.

Beautiful pictures and story. Very moving.
