Probably not my absolute favourite (as it is a shot of an acquaintance rather than a close friend or family member, so there is no particular emotional element for me) but it is certainly one of my favourites, due in large measure to the artistic component. In particular, I love the colors and tones as well as her smiling countenance.
Although this was a candid portrait of a young woman serving in a restaurant and she had no idea I was taking it as she was busy serving another, I followed my normal practice and later showed her the result on Flickr when I next passed by the restaurant. She asked for a copy and of course I naturally gave her one. She has subsequently told me she sent to to her mother who lives overseas and who "loves it". This has also put the image higher in my list of favorites.
