Havana, Consulado street 2012 - where I stay when in town. I will be there next week. "Viva Fidel" = Long live Fidel. "Viva el CDR". Long live the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution. The CDR was a strong organization in the 1960's with representatives on every block to make sure there was no counter-revolutionary activity developing. Today it is a social welfare organization.
