Wow, that's interesting piece of info. I own a 20-year-old 714CE. They make beautiful instruments.

Yeah, I learned that at the factory tour, which is great in itself! For a so-called mass produced guitar, I was surprised at the amount of hand-work that goes into making each one. They do quality work, and it shows.

Stainless steel is a "heavy" metal too I think? This abandoned kitchen was full of industrial-sized ovens, mixers, freezers, etc.
