I like my kind of grain, not that I'm able to produce it every time. If it is the wrong kind like Trix 35mm in Rodinal, I don't like it. But Trix 120 in Rodinal I do. One thing for sure I don't like zero grain like digital, even those tech film have enough for me.
For this type of photo, this is how much I like. TriX HC-110h with a dash of Rodinal (35mm). Developed using minimal agitation to compensate and keep the highlights outside under control:
