It is. Good call. :) I can't decide on how to "print" it (darker, lighter, etc.).

:)

Dramatic lighting, Ray; I like it the way it is now.

A bootprint...

Funny, my photo is from Fort Funston as well.

Thanks, guys... I was nosing around a motel slated for demolition. They were pulling out asbestos and such, and most of the doors had been kicked open like this.

Taffer, that's a great shot and love the tones - and may I just get on my soapbox again and say 'DAMN, it's SO much better to look at a w/nw thread with the photos displayed large in the thread!'. :)

Oscar, I love that shot. Do you happen to know the photographer Arthur Tress? He has a series called "Wheels on Waves" featuring skate ramps and the occasional skater (in an artistic manner, usually only showing a shadow), very much like your shot in style.

I have a problem when a thread loads that contains large images as opposed to thumbnails: the page jumps around for a while as the large images load. Does that happen to anyone else? With thumbnails, this doesn't happen, so I'm stating my preference for thumbnails as opposed to large size images in threads.

Yes it happens to me too, but I still prefer the photos displayed large. It is a pain to have to click thumbnails and then remember to hit the 'back' bnutton to get back to the thread.

I am at the point where I realize I hardly ever click on the thumbnails to expand them - and if the attachment is a link odds are I will never click on it.

It's 2006 people - leave your dial-ups, get a free flickr, etc account and start posting PHOTOS in photo threads - not links/thumbnails.

I swear..if there was a way to 'refuse' attachments in w/nw threads I'd select that every time I'd create one as it really, really ruins the experience in viewing these threads.... :)
