Anyone have good film photographs from the jungle/tropical forests?
I don't have any personal photos, but if you're looking for the photos of other photographers, check out the work of Michael "Nick" Nichols. Along with conservationist J. Michael Fay, they embarked on a 2,000 mille MegaTransect expedition hike across the Congo Basin in 1999. That's about as hardcore of an expedition as it gets. Some of his gear included:
...six Canon SLR bodies with lenses ranging in focal length from 17mm to 600mm, two Leica M6 bodies with 35mm lenses, and eight SLR bodies to be used in camera traps...
