As for age , I would guess about mid 1800s its a nursing home now , but in its time would have been quite impressive. As you can see it has what are called Dutch gables . The idea for the design of these gables was brought to england by Dutch bricklayers probably well before this house was built.
 
The Shard as seen from the Tower of London. The Tower is 11th Century, the Shard is 21st Century, I doubt that the Shard will be around in a thousand years.

Victorian tombs, Kensal Green Cemetery, London.

This was the first of the garden cemeteries built in London, with numerous extraordinary mausoleums and tombs in numerous styles - here you have Gothic, Classical and Egyptian all existing in a wonderland of the long departed.

The Pearl, interesting really because the vast majority of this area of Newcastle is Victorian and then this concrete abomination is plonked on the corner 🤣
